Costs & insurance

  • How much does orthodontic treatment cost?

Fees depend on case complexity, the appliance, treatment duration and retention, so we do not publish set prices or quote from photos. After your exam you receive a written estimate in English. See orthodontic costs in Seoul.

  • Does Korean National Health Insurance cover braces?

Generally not. Korean NHI typically covers orthodontics only in limited cases, such as some cleft-related or surgical orthodontic cases, with eligibility rules. Confirm your situation at consultation. Read Korean insurance and braces for foreigners.

  • Can I get English receipts for my overseas insurance?

Yes. We provide English receipts, itemized statements, medical certificates and doctor's letters. Ask your insurer which documents and codes they need first. Details are on our insurance receipts page.

  • How is the fee and payment schedule set?

Your fee is set after the examination, based on your case, the appliance and the expected duration. Your written estimate in English explains the total fee and payment schedule before you decide. See paying for dental care in Korea.

Treatment

  • What treatments do you offer?

We offer Invisalign, Angel Aligner, metal, ceramic and lingual braces, full or limited front-teeth treatment, adult and children's or teen orthodontics, re-treatment and minimal-prep veneers. Browse all treatments or compare Invisalign vs braces.

  • How long does orthodontic treatment take?

It depends on your case. Limited treatment can take months, while most comprehensive cases typically take roughly 12–30 months. Dr. Lee gives you an estimated timeline after your exam. Individual results vary. See how long Invisalign takes.

  • Can adults get braces or aligners?

Yes. Adults of many ages can have orthodontic treatment if their teeth and gums are healthy enough. Dr. Lee assesses roots, bone and bite with 3D CT before recommending a plan. Read about adult orthodontics.

  • What if I move away before treatment ends?

Tell us your timeline at the first visit. We plan appointments around your departure and prepare a complete English records package so an orthodontist abroad can continue. See relocating during treatment.
