Editorial Policy and Medical Review
Every treatment, condition and guide page on this site is written for English-speaking patients and medically reviewed by Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee, DDS, PhD, a Ministry of Health and Welfare certified orthodontic specialist at Isu Yonsei Baro Orthodontics. This page explains how content is created, checked, sourced and corrected.

Who writes our content
Pages are drafted by the clinic's content team in plain US English for expats, international residents, students, military and embassy families, and visitors in Seoul. Drafts are based on the clinic's actual services, equipment and processes.
Medical review
Before publication, every clinical page is reviewed for accuracy by Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee . Her credentials include:

- DDS (summa cum laude) and PhD in Orthodontics, Yonsei University

Sources and evidence
Clinical explanations draw on peer-reviewed orthodontic literature, professional guidance from orthodontic associations, and Dr. Lee's clinical experience. Where evidence is limited or outcomes vary between people, we say so. Typical durations and ranges are presented as typical, not promised.
Update cadence
Each page is reviewed at least once a year, and sooner when treatment options, equipment, clinic details or relevant regulations change. The "Updated" date shows the most recent review.
Corrections
If you notice an error or outdated information, please email isu.ysbaro@gmail.com . Reported issues are checked by Dr. Lee and corrected promptly when confirmed.
Patient cases and consent
Before-and-after photos and case descriptions appear only with the patient's written consent, and identifying details are minimized. Cases illustrate what was done for one person; individual results and side effects vary, and treatment is decided after examination. See before and after cases .
No paid endorsements
We do not accept payment for content, publish sponsored endorsements, or use patient testimonials. Mentions of appliance brands such as Invisalign describe treatments the clinic offers, not paid placements.
Advertising compliance
Our content is written to follow Korea's Medical Service Act advertising rules. That means no guarantees of results, no superlative claims such as "best" or "No.1", no discounts or promotions, no patient testimonials, and no comparisons that disparage other clinics.
