English-Speaking Orthodontist at Isu Station, Seoul
Quick answer
Isu Yonsei Baro Orthodontics is on the 4th floor of Bangbae Yedain Plaza, about a 1-minute walk from Isu Station Exit 2, with direct underground access. Isu is a transfer station for Seoul Subway Lines 4 and 7. Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee, an orthodontic specialist, holds every consultation in English, with evening hours Monday and Thursday and Saturday mornings.
Finding the clinic from Isu Station
Isu Station sits on the border of Seocho-gu and Dongjak-gu, where Line 4 and Line 7 meet. On the Line 4 side the station is also signed as Chongshin University Station, so do not be confused if your map app shows both names. They are the same transfer complex.
Follow signs for Exit 2. The clinic is in Bangbae Yedain Plaza, 118 Dongjak-daero, and the building connects to the station underground, so you can arrive without going outside in rain, snow or summer heat. Take the elevator to the 4th floor. From the platform, most people reach the front desk in a few minutes.
Why Isu works for busy schedules
Two subway lines make Isu one of the easier hubs in southwestern Seoul to reach. Line 4 runs north toward Seoul Station and central Seoul, and south toward Sadang and Gyeonggi-do. Line 7 runs east through Banpo, Express Bus Terminal and Gangnam-gu, and west toward Namseong and beyond.
Orthodontic care means regular adjustment or aligner check visits, often every several weeks, over many months. A location you can reach without a long transfer makes those visits easier to keep.

What to expect at Isu Yonsei Baro
Your first visit takes about 60 minutes. The team takes digital intraoral scans (no impression putty), X-rays or a 3D CT scan with the RAY Quantum 5D CT, and photos. A RAY Face 3D facial scanner helps assess how teeth relate to overall facial balance.
Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee, a Ministry of Health and Welfare certified orthodontic specialist and clinical professor at Yonsei University College of Dentistry, examines your teeth, bite and jaw herself. She then explains the findings, the options, a typical timeline and a written estimate in English before you decide anything.
In Dr. Lee's practice, the same doctor who does the consultation also handles every adjustment through to debond and retention, so patients do not have to re-explain their case to someone new.
Treatment options include Invisalign, Angel Aligner, metal, ceramic and lingual braces, and limited front-teeth treatment. Individual results and side effects vary; treatment is decided after examination.
Paperwork for international patients
On request, the clinic prepares English receipts, itemized statements, medical certificates and doctor's letters for insurance claims. If you relocate during treatment, complete English records can be prepared so an orthodontist abroad can continue your care.

Frequently asked questions
Which exit of Isu Station is closest to the orthodontist?
Use Exit 2. Bangbae Yedain Plaza, where the clinic is on the 4th floor, is about a 1-minute walk away and connects to the station underground. Take the elevator up to the 4th floor and the front desk is close by. Isu is the transfer point for Lines 4 and 7.
Is Isu Station the same as Chongshin University Station?
Yes. On Line 4 the station is signed as Chongshin University (Isu), and on Line 7 it is Isu. They form one transfer complex, so whichever line you arrive on, follow the signs to Exit 2 for the clinic at 118 Dongjak-daero, Seocho-gu.
Can I see the orthodontist after work near Isu?
Yes. The clinic is open until 9 PM on Mondays and Thursdays, and from 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays with no lunch break. Tuesday and Friday hours are 10 AM to 7 PM. It is closed Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays, so plan regular visits around those days.
Is there parking at the clinic near Isu Station?
Parking is available at the building on Dongjak-daero. It is a good idea to mention when booking that you will drive so the staff can give you current parking instructions. Many patients find the subway easier because Exit 2 links directly to the building underground.
